Any 6th grader wanting to run for Student Council will need to pick up a form outside of Mrs. Bartlett's room and turn it in by Friday Aug. 25th.

Yearbook: Attention 6th graders only… if you love taking pictures and are interested in helping to create our school yearbook, see Mrs. Greenwalt in room 218 after announcements or before school to pick up an application. You will need to submit the completed application, two teacher recommendations, and a sample photo with a caption that you have taken.  Please have the applications completed and back to Mrs. Greenwalt no later than August 28th.

Bernard News: Have you ever wondered how to get on to the Bernard News?  Well, now is your chance!  We will be picking 15 students to meet daily during advisory to help produce the news live each day.  See Mrs. Greenwalt in room 218 after announcements or before school to pick up your application. You will need to complete an application, receive two teacher recommendations, AND have an on-screen audition. All applications and recommendations will need to be turned in no later than Monday, August 28th.


Media Club: Are you interested in creating websites, stop animation videos, or coding? You could learn all this and much more by joining the Media Club! Spots are limited, so see Mrs. Greenwalt in room 218 after the announcements or before school to pick up an application! Applications are due Monday, August 28th.


Heart & Sole: Are you interested in running a 5k this fall? Would you like to make some awesome new friends? Did you take part in Girls on the Run in elementary school? If you answered yes to any of these questions, you should join Heart & Sole! The application is online, and you can pick up an informational flyer from Mrs. Leone in room 209. Hurry because registration ends soon!

Student Councils first meeting will be on Wednesday, September 6th.

If you are interested in joining strings or finding out more about strings, please stop in the office and sign up.  Please sign up as soon as possible.

Wooden locker shelves are available for purchase from the office.  The cost is $5.

Walkers must have a note on file to walk to or from school.  You need a new note every year.

Bike riders will also need a note on file, please remember to lock your bike and you must wear a helmet.

Students may not arrive to school prior to 7:30.  There is no supervision until 7:45.
