Congratulations to Ryan Lisle for winning this week’s Gotcha drawing.  Ryan was recognized by Ms. Layton for being Accountable and should stop by the office after announcements for his prize.

Congratulations to Emma Geppert who has been selected as a top Do the Right Thing award recipient.  Emma witnessed a bike accident, called 911, waited until help arrived and was able to call the victim’s parents.  Emma used her Girl Scout first aid training to help.  Emma will be recognized at a ceremony next Tuesday.  We are very proud of you!

8th grade girls interested in trying out for OHS Cheerleading can stop by the office and pick up an informational packet.  There will be an informational meeting on April 4, application packets are due to OHS by April 16 and tryouts will be April 24-27.

6th and 7th graders--please remember to complete the course request form on the Bernard website. Completing this form gives the voice in the choice  of your classes for next year. Course requests are due Feb 20. If you have questions or need a paper copy, see the counselors.

8th graders---please be sure you are getting  teacher recommendations and parent signature for your high school course requests. Course request are due to your Science teacher by Feb 20. If you have questions please see the counselors.

Registration is now open for middle school summer academy. Students will be able to choose their classes this year. Please visit the district website to get more information and to register for some amazing and fun classes!

Sign up for the PTO Patriots Night Out on Friday, February 23 from 6-9.  Join your friends to play board games, watch movies, games in the gym and enjoy snacks.  Permission forms will be coming home in advisory or are available in the office.

Start saving your coins and dollars! Next week PTO is holding a Penny War through advisory classes.

Each advisory class will have their own container for collecting money.  Students place pennies and dollars in their own container and silver coins in the containers of other classes.

Pennies and dollars ADD to the classroom totoal.  Any silver coins coung AGAINST the class.  The advisory class with the most money will win Gus Pretzels.  Containers will also be available during the Band concert and at the Patriots Night Out.

The last day to order yearbooks is quickly approaching! Order yours before it is to late, we have less than 100 copies left! Last day to order is March 1st. Order online at Josten’s or see Mrs. Greenwalt in room 218.
